Long before I became a professional photographer, I dedicated my career to working with
children, youth and families. For more than seven years, I supported children of all ages,
helping them build confidence, navigate challenges and simply feel safe being themselves.
That experience completely shaped the way I approach photography.
I know that children don't need to sit perfectly still to create beautiful photographs.
They need space to laugh, explore, cuddle, play and just be kids. Whether your little one
is shy, energetic or somewhere in between, I meet them where they are and create an
environment where your family can relax and simply enjoy being together.
Because the most meaningful photographs aren't created by perfect poses.
They're created through genuine connection. My goal isn't just to deliver a
beautiful gallery, it's to give your family an experience you'll look back on
with as much joy as the photographs themselves.

Studio sessions are ideal for young families, maternity sessions or anyone who loves a classic, minimal look. I'll guide you every step of the way while creating genuine moments in a relaxed environment.

1. WHAT IF MY CHILDREN DON'T COOPERATE?
Please don't worry! Children don't need to sit perfectly still or smile at the camera to create beautiful photographs. Some of my favourite images come from little moments of play, cuddles and genuine interaction. With my background working with children, I know how to keep sessions relaxed, engaging and fun while capturing authentic moments that truly reflect your family.
2. what should we wear?
Choosing outfits is one of the best ways to create timeless, cohesive photographs. I recommend neutral tones and coordinating outfits that complement one another rather than matching exactly. Soft textures and earthy colours photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your family's connection and emotions.
Once your session is booked, you'll receive my styling guide with outfit inspiration and tips to help you feel confident and prepared. I'm always happy to help if you'd like a second opinion on your outfit choices!
3. WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Family sessions can take place outdoors, in your home or at a studio, depending on the style and atmosphere you're looking for. I'm happy to recommend some of my favourite locations throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and the surrounding area to help you find the perfect setting.
If you prefer a studio session, that's absolutely an option as well. Please note that studio rental fees are not included in my session pricing and will be added to your package. I'll help you choose a studio that best suits your vision and budget.
4. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR SOMEONE GETS SICK?
Life happens, especially with little ones! If the weather isn't suitable or someone in your family becomes ill, we'll simply find another date that works for everyone. My goal is for your experience to feel relaxed and enjoyable from beginning to end.
